The Sun is the most visible member of our solar system.  Although mankind knows an incredible amount about it, there still remains much to be discovered.  It seems that the more we discover, the more questions we uncover.  Recent observations by spacecraft have shed led on old mysteries and illuminated new ones.  The solar wind is a member of the former, while solar quakes are a member of the latter.  Even though much is known about both of these natural occurrences,  a lot still remains to be learned.  It is with this in mind that the Solar Probe is destined to set off towards the largest and most powerful member of our solar sys
