This section is part of the Eclipse Table proper. It is a group of number glyphs showing 177- and 148-day intervals. These numbers are written in the standard Mayan bar-and-dot notation. Here "we see the numeral 177 repeated a number of times. This series always terminates with the number 148, after which a picture follows" in the next block (Aveni, Skywatchers, 174). The repetition of these series is "one of the principal features of the table." (Aveni, Skywatchers, 174)
