The Chumash people lived in the area currently occupied by Vandenberg Air Force Base for nearly 10,000 years. Over that time they created many works of rock art which remained preserved today. This website aims to visually profile three of these sites: Honda Ridge, Swordfish Cave, and Window Cave. It is organized basically as I myself viewed the art on December 8th, 2000 while on a field trip with my archeoastronomy class at Pomona College.

This site is best viewed at screen resolutions above 1024 x 768 pixels.
