Directions
to the Pomona College Millikan
Planetarium
Pomona College is the location of Millikan
Laboratory & Planetarium and Brackett Observatory. Click
here for directions to Brackett Observatory
Pomona College is located in the City of Claremont in the Pomona
Valley. This city is on the easternmost border of Los Angeles County.
From the south: Take your favorite freeways to interstate 10 towards
Pomona. Exit Indian Hill Blvd and go north (towards the mountains).
Turn right on Arrow Highway. Then left on College Ave. Once you
cross First Street you will be on the campus. Continue up College
Ave and you will see Millikan Laboratory on the northeast corner
of the intersection of College Ave and Sixth Street. Park on the
street and the planetarium is on the first floor of Millikan.
From the north: If coming from the northwest take the 210 East
and stay on that freeway (don't take the ramp marked 210 to the
10 and 57 freeways) until it ends onto Foothill Boulevard. Continue
east on Foothill. After you pass Indian Hill (which has a light)
you will pass small roads. Turn right down the third one you come
to (which is College Avenue). There are no lights or stop signs
on these roads. If you are coming from the east take Foothill all
the way until you hit the same road, College Avenue and then turn
left. In this case it is the first unmarked street past Dartmouth
Avenue. In all cases, follow College Avenue south till Sixth Street.
Millikan Laboratory will be on the northeast corner of the intersection
of College Avenue and Sixth Street. Park on the street and the planetarium
is on the first floor of Millikan.
I strongly suggest you view and print the campus map as this will
make finding the appropriate buildings much easier.

Map Here. For reference the two buildings mentioned above are
Millikan Laboratory and Brackett Observatory. Also, Indian Hill
Blvd is to the left (west) of the campus.
