in Millikan Hall

Millikan Hall is the center for the astronomy, physics, math and computer science departments of Pomona College. This 2-story building contains classrooms, offices and labs for the professors, student lounges and laboratory rooms. Millikan basement is often called the "Happiest Place on Earth" especially during the summer when students and professors use the numerous labs down below to conduct research without the strain of also having classes.

Recently a generous grant gave us the Andrew Building. A 2-story addon to Millkan that contains optics laboratories, UNIX laboratories and more classrooms. Housed in Andrew is the Astrophysics classroom. This room is equipped with dual projectors, laserdisc, DVD, VCRs and 9 dual-boot LINUX/Windows computers.

Currently under construction on the roof of Millikan is our very own radio telescope (pictured below).
